We love Cheyanne! 🫶🏼

Meet Cheyanne Kincaid.
In June, Cheyanne celebrated her three-year anniversary with Stillwater Medical and works as a patient service representative/registered medical assistant at Blackwell Primary Care.

What she loves most about our organization is the teamwork. According to Cheyanne, “My WHY is our patients, my coworkers and my family. I have always been drawn to the medical field since I was in high school. There wasn’t really anything life-altering that made me want to join, but I was specific in wanting to join Stillwater Medical because of my experiences with them. Every one of them was great!”

Cheyanne was raised in Blackwell and has lived there her entire life. She is the oldest of six kids and has one sister and four brothers. She and her husband of eight years, Marcus (who is a police sergeant for Ponca City Police Department), have two children: Nixon (age 8) and Sawyer (age 7). The couple also recently became foster parents to a seven-month-old baby girl.

The family also includes fur babies: three dogs (named Achilles, Piper & Captain) and one cat (named JJ). In other words, they have a very full house full of love! In her down time, Cheyanne likes to find a good book to read. She also likes to spend time with her family, which includes going to the movies, playing board games, and having movie nights at home.

Thank you for all you do, Celeste!

Meet Icel “Celeste” Rowe.
Celeste joined the Stillwater Medical family almost three years ago. Her role has grown fast within that time! She wears a variety of hats in multiple locations, which includes taking care of the five specialty providers that travel to the Ponca City Specialty Clinic, it includes the Blackwell Primary Care clinic, which consists of three primary care providers, and she is also a Registered Medical Assistant & Claims Specialist/Biller.

When asked what she loves most about Stillwater Medical, Celeste said it's “the philosophy and core values. I have had the pleasure to meet and work beside the best employees at this company. I truly see compassion and the commitment to excellence everywhere I go with the company. I have experienced so much support and have been shown kindness from day one working here. This warms my heart so much.”

Celeste has been in healthcare for 19 years. Her passion is taking care of people in her community of Northern Oklahoma. While her hometown is Blackwell, she’s always worked in Ponca. “SMC has given me the freedom to work in both towns now, building relationships and taking care of people,” she said.

Being blessed to have a very large family, there's always something going on in Celeste’s world. She loves spending time with her best gal pal, Maia, her "3-year-old granddaughter” that Celeste says keeps everyone on their toes. Fall and winter months are Celeste’s favorite time of the year! She enjoys baking and decorating for the holidays. She also loves camping and spending time at home in the country.

This National Influenza Vaccination Week, help reduce your child’s risk by getting them a flu vaccine.

Seasonal flu shots protect against influenza viruses that research indicates will be most common in the upcoming season. After getting the flu shot, antibodies develop in the body about two weeks later that provide protection against infection.
Everyone 6 months of age and older should get a flu shot (with rare exceptions).
