Our driving force is to improve emotional health and wellbeing for Latinx communities across our state and beyond. We do this by working alongside community leaders and traditional health workers, creating safe healing spaces, culturally-rooted community engagement practices, training and education, direct clinical services, and expert consultation on culturally responsive clinical practice and sy

Raíces Clinic will be taking a short break and will be closed from July 28th until August 1st. During this time, our amazing team will be recharging both physically and mentally. 🧘‍♀️💆‍♂️

Mindfulness is the awareness that emerges through paying attention on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally to things as they are. Mindfulness can be practiced every day and is as easy to do in just three minutes.

1️⃣ Become Aware – Notice your thoughts, feelings, and body sensations.
2️⃣ Gather – Focus on your breath, in and out.
3️⃣ Expand – Sense your whole body and soften into the moment.

Just a few minutes can shift your day. ✨

July is BIPOC Mental Health Awareness Month 🧠✨. Here are some uplifting tips to help you maintain your wellbeing this month and beyond. Remember, you matter! 🌟

1. Practice mindfulness and meditation to keep your mind at peace. 🧘🏽‍♂️

2. Connect with your community and share your experiences. You are not alone! 🤝🏾

3. Set boundaries to protect your energy and mental space. It's okay to say no. 🚫

4. Engage in activities that bring you joy and relax your mind. 🎨

5. Reach out for professional help if needed. Taking care of your mental health is a sign of strength.
