Many of us will be hitting the pool over Memorial Day weekend. The pool not only keeps us cool during the brutal Southern heat, but also provides a great workout opportunity. Whether you're looking for a new fitness challenge or a low-impact workout that's easy on your joints, pool workouts are an excellent way to get cardio and strength training in one. In fact, water provides about 15 times more resistance than doing the same moves on land, says Mary E. Sanders, PhD, an associate professor in exercise science at the University of Nevada, Reno, and director of WaterFit International. Try this 30-minute water workout from Prevention and have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend! https://bit.ly/34y1ysZ
