Can you believe it? Open for a whole year! Happy 1st Birthday to our Morehead, KY clinic! 🎉🎂 We are so proud to have served 24+ kids in just one year and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact in their lives. To celebrate this milestone, we are treating our hardworking staff to some delicious cake and ice cream, and of course, the kids will get to enjoy some ice cream too! Here's to many more successful years ahead! Cheers to making a difference! 🥳

As the new school year approaches, it's important to ensure that our students have the support and resources they need to thrive in the classroom. 🍎

For children with autism, going back to school can be an exciting but also overwhelming time. It's helpful for parents and teachers to create a structured and predictable environment to help ease any anxieties that may arise. Here are some tips and tricks to help children with autism navigate their day. 👣

⏰Get started now! Practice going to bed and waking early to get their (and your!) body ready for the new schedule.

🥪Plan and prep breakfast and lunch the night before, 👕pick out clothes for the week, and🎒declutter and organize book bags often to avoid stressful mornings.

📸Take pictures of your child's teachers and create visual aids and social stories about their day.

Remember that each child is unique, and what works for one may not work for another. By working together and understanding the individual needs of each child, we can create a supportive and inclusive environment for all students. 🌈
