To our Central Texas community,
The recent flooding has brought unimaginable challenges to many families, and our hearts are with everyone affected. At Happy Trails Pediatrics, we want to do our part to help during this difficult time.

We are offering free pediatric medical services to families impacted by the flood. Whether you’ve lost access to medications, need care for your child, or are navigating new health concerns after the storm — we are here for you.

We can help with:
• Refills of chronic medications lost in the flood
• Well child checks and sick visits
• Skin issues (rashes, infections, lacerations)
• Tetanus vaccines for those involved in cleanup
• Lactation support for mothers of infants

You don’t need to be a current patient, and no insurance is required. This is simply about caring for our community.

Hey ATX!
We have 2 rooms to rent out of our new 2500 square foot clinic in the NW Hills area of Austin. We are an infant and wellness PT/OT therapy group that offers private therapy, baby classes, and parent groups. We are looking for wonderful providers to come share our space. Anyone who works with the pediatric population or in the perinatal community would be a great fit :). DM me if interested or reach out via the contact info on the flyer for more info!

🎓 Excited to be joining the Psychology department at St. Edward’s University this Friday to chat with students about how they can use their psychology degrees in physical & occupational therapy professions.

Did you know PT and OT grad programs require a handful of psychology pre-requisites? I certainly use them daily.

I am so sad to be missing Texas PT Legislative Day this year, where our profession collectively heads to the capitol to meet with the legislature to advocate for Texans’ access to therapy. Our legislature is in session until June. This means that this is the time to contact your local reps and ask them to vote in favor of bills that support issues you feel passionate about. Who represents you in the state of Texas? How do you contact them? ➡️ https://wrm.capitol.texas.gov/home

I’ll be emailing my reps about issues on our PT agenda (among other things): improving direct access to physical therapy without a referral, and decreasing copay costs to PT.
