At BAYADA, we’re committed to clinical excellence and ethical Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) care. As a proud member of the Council of Autism Service Providers - CASP, we follow national best practices to support children and families.

We also recommend TheSpectrum.org, CASP’s new education hub for parents and caregivers of young children recently diagnosed with autism. It offers research-backed information and helpful tools to guide early care decisions.

Our behavioral health team is dedicated to meeting people where they are—out in the community, sharing resources, support, and hope. Earlier this year, team members from our behavioral health office in Wall, NJ, attended the Ocean County Library’s 8th Annual Autism Resources Fair.

While there, they met a child in need of services whose family had been struggling to find a provider. Our team quickly came together to help connect this family with the care and support they needed through our center. It’s a powerful reminder of how human connection can open doors to life-changing care for those in our communities.

At just 2 years old, Zuri lives with spina bifida, has only one functioning lung, and relies on a trach and ventilator. After more than nine months and six surgeries in the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia's Pediatric ICU, she finally came home—where she’s thriving with the support of skilled BAYADA nurses.

But low Medicaid funding in Pennsylvania means her family can’t always fill the 24/7 nursing shifts she’s approved for, especially around Christmas and New Year’s. When coverage falls short, her parents step in—losing sleep, rearranging work, and juggling care for their three other children, including one in chemotherapy.

Members of BAYADA’s Solutions and Accessibility for Equality (SAFE) Employee Resource Council (ERC) volunteered at Wings of Eagles Ranch in Concord, NC, supporting therapeutic programs that serve individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

From preparing Giving Tuesday mailings to setting up event space and assisting with the care of therapy horses, our SAFE team put compassion into action.

Thank you to Wings of Eagles Ranch for partnering with us in this important work, and thank you to our SAFE ERC volunteers for leading with heart. We look forward to continuing this meaningful collaboration in 2026.

One of our long-time clients, Kaya, requires ongoing diabetes management and needed a nurse to help her and her family safely enjoy a special trip to the Bahamas.

Clinical Manager Cassandra, who is also a licensed nurse, stepped in without hesitation to make sure Kaya’s care never missed a beat. Cassandra joined Kaya and her family on their trip, giving her parents peace of mind so they could focus on making memories together.

Did you know that October is Fire Prevention Month? Here's some tips from the American Red Cross to keep you and your loved ones safe!:

❗Install smoke alarms on every level of your home, inside bedrooms and outside sleeping areas.
❗Test smoke alarms every month. If they’re not working, change the batteries.
❗Talk with all family members about a fire escape plan and practice the plan twice a year.
❗If a fire occurs in your home, GET OUT, STAY OUT and CALL FOR HELP. Never go back inside for anything or anyone.
