Two years ago on this day, I started chemotherapy and it was one of the most difficult things to do. It was a hard season but with Jesus and my husband, I made it. I am so thankful to say next week I will officially get this port taken out!
When I walked in I looked around and thought to myself how did I get here? I almost had a panic attack but God immediately gave me another God wink right there in the building. He saves us, in every moment! I am so thankful to be here, I am so thankful he gave me a new life! He's done things for me that I can't explain and proving Jermiah 29:11 is TRUE saying "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
I also lean on Roman's 8:28 "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." I needed this to be true in my life, and it is 💛 he doesn't say he will work some things for our good but ALL things! There is no life outside of Jesus, I am thankful to have that beautiful relationship with him! Reach out if you ever want to come to church to see what it's all about. It will be the best decision of your life! Thankful for all those that were there for me during that time. He had people praying for me from coast to coast and I just couldn't believe it. That's what Jesus does! If you are in a dark season, I'll pray for you. My secret was praising (singing to him) constantly, even when I couldn't walk to the porch to do it because I was in so much pain. I laid there and sang and felt Jesus presence in bed. There is nothing like it on this earth. Happy Friday!

Hello everyone 💜 today I go for a CT scan. I am not shaken, for I know who is with me!
I wanted to say again to all who prayed me through the very difficult season of life, THANK YOU! I am so grateful to be here a year after treatment and it's just a whole new world. I will say, I thought when chemotherapy was over, I would just be fantastic and good to go but there were a lot of things to overcome even this past year. It was not easy and I'm still working through things but aren't we all? I am thankful for STRENGTH, PEACE, WISDOM, LOVE, GRACE, AND MY HUSBAND!
I'm thankful for people willing to take a minute to pray for my health and family. If I can ever pray for you, please do not hesitate to ask!
I'm looking forward to getting this cancer port out of my chest, hopefully THIS year!
They say you aren't in the clear until after 5 years but I am just BELIEVING 💜 I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday and remember we are overcomers in JESUS name! 🙌

Last July I had a colonoscopy that told me I had a tumor, then 3 out of 13 lymphnodes came back with cancer cells. Within 4 days of finding the tumor I had surgery, 2 months later to the day, I started chemotherapy.

Today I had my first full colonoscopy since that time and it... was... CLEAR!!! THANK YOU JESUS!! I'm beyond happy, and cried as soon as I found out! This mattered to me more than the pet scan. So I'm thrilled today!

Chemo is over !!

Hi everybody, I know I don't post in here but today what's on my mind is the hardest part about chemo is when you get a 3 week break (due to weather) and then have to go back after you feel so good/normal/healthy 😪 but I'm not here to cry, I can do this. Just thought maybe yall would like to know what's hard about chemo, it's long breaks. I'm ready to be finished forever 🤍 have a blessed Monday
