Just read this great sentence in an article... "The problem with a consensus culture, though, is that it makes it easy to avoid difficult conversations and to stumble into groupthink and inertia." Why the heck would we want every single human to think exactly like us? How boring that would be! How limiting that would be! Each of us is naive on so many subjects/issues. We simply don't know what we don't know. So why would we want everyone else to not know either, just to feel safe in our own ignorance? The world needs different ideas, perspectives, knowledge, and opinions. That is what helps each of us learn and grow individually and collectively. Using our brain in different ways is such a blessing...that's why God/nature gave this to us! 🧠
