Today was a special day for us at Charter Senior Living of Gateway Park . We honored some associates and residents in a Gallery Walk. Each person featured in the Gallery Walk had a picture and a brief summary of some fun facts about their lives. A huge " thank you" to Jill Pitz who played the harp beautifully during our walk and Megan, our Dining Director for making beautiful charcuterie boards full of delictable meats, cheeses, fruit, nuts and sauces. Everyone really enjoyed mingling and learning about those people who were part of the Gallery Walk.

We were out and about on the bus on Thursday on a Thrift Store Adventure. We stopped at Chick-Fil-A for lunch. We came home with a bus full of goodies including an end table and a floor lamp! Check out some pics from our fun day.

This week we celebrated the Charter Wide Fun Day "National Photo Day". The shutterbugs caught associates and residents having fun with the photo booth props.

Ms. Laitris always comes dressed up for meals. Today she was sporting a very fashionable hat. She is just so adorable! 💜❤️

We had a special visitor today in the building. Ms. Shannon and Kanicki, her therapy dog, was a hit with everyone! We look forward to seeing you both back in a couple of weeks.

We had a great outing on the bus this past week at Ford's Garage in Noblesville. And yes, don't adjust your eye sight, we ate lunch under a real car! A huge "Thank You" to the staff who were so kind and helpful. As usual the food and experience was awesome! 😎

We took 35 of our best friends over to Jeni’s farm for a party yesterday! (Jeni Cruser is the Sales/Marketing Director for those who dont know)!

There is something to be said about being out in the fresh air, enjoying time with our 4-legged friends!

Ryan and Jeni were giving out Kubota rides and well, you will need to ask Barb, Ed, Don, Marcy or any of the others, who was a better driver! 🤣

We had so much fun~

We are blessed to have this career and blessed we get to love these people! ❤️

Thank you so much to LIZ with HOME INSTEAD for the ice cream and CHRISTY with ELARACARE HOSPICE for providing water and treats for the animals! Two wonderful human beings, providing excellent care to our seniors!

Our first time visit to the Hancock County Farmer's Market was a success! We met a lot of people and even made some friends with four legged critters. Filled the bus up with tomatoes, canteloupe, homemade banana nut muffins and even some fresh flowers. It was hot so we decided to stop on the way home for some milk shakes. We can't wait to go back next month!

Float me baby!! This past Wednesday was National Root Beer Floats Day. We had such a a great time sipping our floats and listening to one of our favorite entertainers, Tom John. A huge "thank you" to Tom John for volunteering his time to play for us!

It was a beautiful day for a lunch outing on the bus. We tried a new restaurant, Knightstown Restaurant, and it was fabulous! We rated it a high 10. And definitely will be back. A huge "Thank You" to the staff for the wonderful food and great service.
