Overthinkers need reassurance. Not gaslighting. Not manipulation. Not projecting. Reassurance.

People think Overthinkers are just being "Extra"
But what folks don't realize is that an Overthinker wants nothing more than to escape the thoughts in their heads. And this isn't just for romantic relationships. It can occur between family members, and even coworkers. Think about a time you caught yourself Overthinking about something at work, or in a friendship.

Overthinkers don't just think about one thing once or twice. They think about that thing from the time they wake up, until the time they go to sleep, IF they can even sleep. Sometimes this can trigger anxiety and baby that's a whole other ball game.

They don't talk too much about it because people tend to be less than kind. They need to be reassured maybe more than once to be able to ease their minds. However, most times they are met with Gaslighting, "It's your fault you feel that way..." Manipulation, "If you hadn't...I wouldn't have..." or Projection, "I wouldn't have taken it that way..." Reassurance will definitely help the Overthinker.

Let's take the stigma off of Mental Health and face it all head on!
