Did you know? Healthy sleep, just like nutrition, can nourish overall health and help combat symptoms of chronic disease.

It is recommended that adults aged 18-60 sleep at least 7 hours each night for optimal well-being.

A lack of sleep can increase the risk of developing chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes, whereas a full night’s sleep can pose the opposite effect, reaping benefits like elevated mood, improved heart health, and reduced inflammation.

Try turning off electronics before bed, limiting caffeine and sugar, and creating a relaxing and comfortable environment for your bedroom. Incorporating these tips will help you get a good night’s sleep so that you feel your best.
