ADMINISTRATOR (Medicare Home Health)
MEDICARE HOME HEALTH AGENCY - seeking Home Health Administrator to work with our team of highly experienced Home Health Clinicians, providing excellent and quality home health services to our patients in the comfort of their Home.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• 2 - 3 plus years of Administrator Experience - Required
• Critical Care Experience - a plus
• Medicare Home Health Agency Experience Preferred
• Care/Case Management Experience

JOB SUMMARY:
• Professional member of the team who acts as the Agency team leader.
• Coordinates all facets of the Agency’s operations to comply with all Local, State and Federal Regulations and accreditation standards.
• Ensures availability of all resources needed for efficient daily operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Organizes and directs the Agency’s on-going functions.
• Ensure compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws and with Accreditation Standards.
• Must be knowledgeable with Medicare PDGM (Patient Driven Grouping Model)
• Must be knowledgeable with QAPI, OASIS, AXXESS - Preferred.
• Responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of quality interdisciplinary home health care services, ensuring compliance with federal/state standards and clinical best practices.
• Supervises, monitors, and ensures competencies and performance of assigned home health care team(s) and ensures the delivery of quality home health services.
• Supervises ongoing case management of all patients ensuring an accurate evaluation and treatment plan, maintaining our quality model, and utilizing services appropriately to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provides clinical oversight for home health patients within the assigned team(s).
• Maintain on-going liaison with Board of Directors, staff members and the community.
• Maintains a current organizational chart.
• Maintain the Policy and Procedure Manual
• Assures hiring of qualified personnel with appropriate credentials and education, and ensures adequate staff on-going education, training, and evaluation.
• Ensures Clinical Manager is available during operating hours.
• Ensure accuracy of Agency public information materials and activities.
• Implement and monitor a budgeting and accounting system.
• Complete, maintain, and submit all reports required by Federal, State or Local regulations.
• Designate in writing a qualified staff member to act in the Administrator’s absence.
• Provide a system of staff communications that ensures coordinated implementation of plan of cares and the utilization of necessary services for the comprehensive care of clients.
• Participates in QAPI program, assures adequate resources for carrying out program.
• Comply with HIPPA Privacy Rules Policies and Procedures may serve as Privacy Official in carrying out duties.
• Report any suspected violations of Privacy Practice to Privacy Official as soon as breach/possible is identified.
• Ensures education of all staff in Emergency Preparedness program, and ensures at least two (2) Emergency drills per year are carried out involving all staff.
• Serves as Incident Commander during Emergency situation.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors Degree Required
• Florida RN Licenses Preferred
• 1 - 2 yrs. Director or Supervisory Experience A Must
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to read, write, hear, and verbally communicate in English to the degree required to perform job duties.
• Ability to stand, walks, sits, push, pull, kneel, crouch and stoop.
• Ability to withstand wet/humid, non-weather-related environments
