We are excited to welcome Alix Peters, our new Director of Nursing at the Ambrosio-Guillen Texas State Veteran's home in El Paso, Texas!

"Hi! I’m Alix. I’m a registered nurse with 13 years of experience, and I’ve been in and out of long-term care throughout my entire career. I’ve had the opportunity to serve in various leadership roles, including previously serving as a Director of Nursing in long-term care. I’m passionate about improving patient outcomes and developing strong nursing teams. I’m currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Nursing Management and Leadership.

I’ve always felt it a privilege to work with patients who require the support that comes with a nursing facility, and having the opportunity to work with the veteran community makes it all that more special. Being a military spouse, I see the resilience, strength, and unique needs the military community has, and it makes me thankful to have the opportunity to be a part of an organization that treats our veterans with the honor, appreciation, and respect they deserve."
