First doses available at ORMC-Odessa

Odessa Regional Medical Center has first dose vaccines available this week. According to the Hospital, they will administer first doses of the Moderna vaccine at its Community Health Center, 5th and Muskingum.

Saturday,March 27 : Midland Health will be holding a COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the MLK Center. The event will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins will be welcomed as well. You can call 432-221-4VAX to make an appointment.

The COVID-19 vaccine will be open for anyone who is 16 years of age and older at no cost.

Texas to open vaccination to all adults on March 29. With every dose, Texas gets closer to normal and protects more lives from COVID-19 hospitalization and death.

Texas vaccine providers are to continue to prioritize people who are the most at risk of severe disease, hospitalization and death – such as older adults.

Over 3 million Texans are fully vaccinated and over 6 million have received at least one dose.

NOTE: This does NOT affect any appointments at ORMC for individuals due for their 2nd dose.

ORMC has administered the last of our vaccine supply for 1st doses. We will no longer accept appointments or walk-ins for 1st doses until more become available. At this time, we do not have an exact date on when the next shipment of vaccines for 1st doses is expected to arrive.
