You can reduce the toxins in your home in baby steps!

Let’s start by replacing your laundry supplies.

You wash/dry your clothes and all the chemicals in what you most likely are using get into your system through your skin.

If you have headaches, skin irritations, vertigo, dizziness, and many other health issues it could be due to the toxins you are exposed to on a daily basis.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
HE washers: 1⁄4 cap (1 tbsp)
Conventional washers: 1⁄2 cap (2 tbsp)
Use more as needed for heavily soiled loads.
Stains: Put a small amount of detergent directly on the stain. Let sit for 3–10 minutes; wash as directed. For very stubborn stains, re-apply the detergent before the garment is dry and repeat the wash cycle. After repeating wash, allow garment to dry before attempting additional stain treatment. As with any stain removal, test for colorfastness of garments in small area before treating.

Fabric softener is horrible for you as well. Adding vinegar during the rinse cycle is a better option.
You can add essential oils to the vinegar or fruit peels and let them soak for a few days in the vinegar before using to create wonderful aromas!

Every other week I use my detoxifying mud mask.

Daily routine: after I shower in the morning I use a toner that I make myself using Witch Hazel, Oregano, Tea Tree, Rosemary, Rose, and Ylang Ylang in it. I spray it on and rub it in. Then I roll on Immortelle and Frankincense, followed by Yarrow Pom. My skin is clear, soft, and and tight!

Side note * if you use natural deodorant. Our detoxifying mud mask is great to detoxifying your arm pits. Detoxing helps reduce body odor.

Do you realize your DISHWASHER is a giant diffuser!

We must be mindful of what we are washing our dishes with. So swap out your Cascade dishwasher detergent with chlorine bleach for your own DIY dishwasher soap. Check out this recipe:

DIY Dishwasher detergent

1/2 cup table salt

1 cup baking soda

1 cup citric acid

10 drops rosemary essential oil

15 drops lemon essential oil

1 medium glass airtight jar

Makes 56 loads

Mix dry ingredients well in a bowl then add your essential oils and mix well again.

Use 1 tablespoon per load.

You can use any citrus oils or OnGuard oils in your dishwasher detergent.

tip *** use vinegar instead of jet dry in your rinse cycle.

My Why

In 2018 our youngest son was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, HSP (Henoch-Schonlein purpura). HSP attacks your blood vessels as if they are a foreign body causing inflammation throughout your body, abdominal pain, vomiting, joint pain/swelling, and a rash. We have never felt so helpless and alone as we did while we watched our son suffer through this not knowing what to do. There is no cure or medicine for HSP. The doctors can treat the symptoms, but that is all they can do.

We didn’t like just sitting back and doing nothing, so we started doing lots of research. We learned that gut health plays a huge role in our overall health, especially when it comes to our immune system. While doing our research we learned that diet, antibiotics, environmental elements all can break down our gut health yet no one ever teaches us how to take care of our gut or how to repair our gut health. We learned how prebiotics and probiotics and essentials oils can be used to support the body’s different systems including the immune system and help support good gut health.

In October 2019 I was having strange headaches. I have had migraines in the past, but these were very different. I couldn’t find relief in anything I did or tried. After suffering for several weeks Chad was adamant I go to the hospital. They treated me with a migraine cocktail and sent me on my way. The very next day, I was in pain again. Chad wanted me to go back to the E.R., but I really thought that they would just tell me it’s a migraine and to suck it up so I didn’t go. I put it off for two more weeks and finally I couldn’t deal with the pain anymore, so I asked Chad to take me back in. Thankfully he did. This time the doctor decided I had been dealing with the pain far too long and ordered a bunch of tests. They drew blood and had me do an MRI. They found a blood clot in my brain. It is called a CVST (Cerebral Venus Sinus Thrombosis). Due to the blood thinners I need to be on to prevent a stroke (or worse) there are a lot of medications I cannot take. I started using essential oils to treat things like headaches, heartburn, joint pain when I exercise, colds, and allergies because these are things I cannot take a lot of medicines for due to the interaction they have with Warfarin (blood thinner).

I have been using oils to help support our sons immune system and gut health. I have noticed a change in his energy levels, he has had less flareups of the HSP, he has had less issues with his allergies (seasonal and food), and he has had less colds or if he does seem like he is coming down with something it only lasts a couple of days vs. weeks like it has been for him previously.

My passion for sharing essential oils has grown so much since I have seen what it has done for me and my family. I have become a certified aromatherapist, and after extensive research I have chosen doTerra essential oils.
