Two AMAZING things happened this morning as soon as I opened my eyes
..well, three!

God also granted me a new poem to add to our collection, "Original Poetry on Canvas", in addition to me receiving a call from someone who is truly dear to my heart and has been an inspirational factor in my life and my reading a post on Instagram which I believe was a specific message to me that was then confirmed by my surprise caller
..so, when God speaks (especially, more than once and as soon as you wake up) you listen. "My Sacred Heart", the book of poetry and testimony drops this Friday, look for it on Amazon.

Though it bothers me that I was unable to publish my book today and have been trying to smooth out a technical situation with Amazon since Sunday, I am actually encouraged by knowing when the devil 😈 is fighting your progress, it's because he's attempting to halt God's praise.

GLORY WILL COME FROM THIS AND MANY LIVES WILL BE EMPOWERED THROUGH THE SHARING OF MY TESTIMONY.

"Poetry for me has always been my mode of healing ...it's not just pretty words placed on a sheet of paper ...but rather me emptying all my hurts to make room for what heals me. Without poetry, I find myself just going through the routines of life as if on autopilot. So here I am again, to purposely pursue the power of my pen..."

The above post was written over five years ago and when I look back and see the detour my life has taken, I am greatly disappointed with self. Yet, my journey of life is not complete so there is still opportunity to pursue that which I was created to do ...impact lives that are in despair.

"My Sacred Heart" a book of testimony and poetry, was written several years ago and have been collecting dust but today it has been updated with the blessings of my mom, Reverend Min Florence Collins, and my pastor, Donnie Anderson, who wrote the forward, and will soon be available on Amazon.

Supporting the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention is still of grave importance to me, therefore the proceeds from our new tee, CT's Poetry Unisex, that is available on our website claristidbits.com, will be going towards benefiting this organization and the wonderful work they are doing in preventing su***de.
