𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 — 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.

I left a visit today angry and heartbroken. The baby has been in obvious discomfort since birth. The mother has done everything right — brought her baby in week after week, voicing her concerns — only to be dismissed again and again.

If you know something isn’t right, don’t stop asking questions.
Don’t settle for “they’ll grow out of it.”
Don’t let anyone make you doubt what you see and feel every day with your baby.

Your intuition is not a guess — it’s the most powerful tool you have as a parent.
Keep seeking answers until your baby is comfortable and thriving. 💛

I wish pediatricians would understand that oral motor dysfunction and/or oral restrictions can lead to lifelong AIRWAY issues. We can prevent these issues by working on them now in infancy.

Look at this sweet dad–baby bond 🤎

Back to feeding talk… 😉

💡 Did you know Britt’s infant feeding care goes far beyond basic lactation support?

I don’t just help with latch — I specialize in the complex, the confusing, and the “we’ve tried everything” babies.

💧 Reflux & food intolerances (and yes, even the so-called “colic” babies)
👅 Pre- and post-frenectomy oral therapy for tongue and lip ties
🌱 Feeding developmental delays and delayed feeding milestones
🕵️‍♀️ Sniffing out the hidden reasons your baby isn’t meeting feeding and developmental milestones (because yes — they’re deeply connected)
🍼 Expert bottle-refusal care
🧸 Formula and combo feeding support
💖 Infants with special medical needs & NICU graduates

👉🏻 Tense, gassy, hypersensitive, or dysregulated babies who struggle to feed or rest — if you and your baby aren’t experiencing peaceful feeding, that’s a sign something isn’t quite right, and I can help you uncover why. 👈🏻

If it feels complicated or hard — I’m your go-to girl.

Every visit is hands-on, therapeutic, and completely tailored to your baby’s unique needs — because feeding should feel better.

📍 Serving families across the Northshore — Covington, Mandeville, Madisonville, and surrounding areas.

Just a little spooky reminder 👻 … it’s a good idea to offer your breastfed baby a bottle by 4 weeks old and keep it in the mix sometimes—otherwise bottle refusal might come back to haunt you later 🎃

If you’re more worried about breast refusal, that doesn’t have to be scary either.
I can help with both—but heads up, bottle refusal is the trickier monster, and it’s one you definitely want to avoid! 🍼🕷️

When my son was 6 months old, I tried to give him his first bottle… and he completely refused it.

He had no idea how to drink from it. I bought every single bottle on the market—even special “breast-like” ones shipped from Europe. I was desperate, but nothing worked. I couldn’t be away from him for more than 3 hours, and it was miserable.

What I didn’t know then is that breastfed babies are actually more likely to refuse the bottle than the breast—and research shows that exclusively breastfed babies should be introduced to a bottle around 3–4 weeks old. Not as a replacement, but as an option for flexibility when you need it.

If you’re breastfeeding and want your baby to take a bottle at some point, don’t wait as long as I did. It’s not about choosing one or the other—it’s about keeping both doors open. 💛

It’s easy to trust advice from someone with a big following. But when it comes to your baby, followers don’t equal expertise.

Even well-intended tips can miss the mark — and that can affect your baby’s growth, airway, development, and your own wellbeing as a parent.

Feeding isn’t just about getting milk in. It’s about protecting your baby’s health and your peace of mind. That takes more than trends — it takes credentials, clinical training, and evidence-based care.

Your baby deserves more than algorithms. They deserve real expertise and safe support. 🌱

Most parents think a bottle is just a way to feed. But the truth is—the ni**le design actually shapes how your baby eats, swallows, and even breathes for life.

The way your baby uses their tongue, lips, jaw, and palate while feeding doesn’t just matter for today—it sets the stage for:
• Healthy oral development
• Strong feeding and swallowing mechanics
• Airway health as they grow
• Speech and eating skills later in life

It’s amazing how something so small can make such a big difference.

Swipe through to learn why bottle choice matters more than most people realize, and how the right ni**le design supports your baby now and in the future.
