My client went from an HbA1C of 5.9 (which is in the prediabetic range) to 5.6 (normal range!) in just 3 months!
As I mention in the post, the BIGGEST food focus she has made is increasing her fiber intake. Naturally this has led to eating more fruits, vegetables, nuts/seeds, legumes and whole grains. All things that many of us could use some more of.
She has also been working on consistency in working out, mostly by going on walks most days and doing strength training a few times a week, which I would say is pretty reasonable.
A lot of my clients struggle with maintaing motivation when they start working on lifestyle changes, and having data like this can be a game changer in keeping the momentum!
If you have been wanting to imrpove your own A1C or other blood sugar markers such as fasting blood sugar or insulin, let’s chat. There is SO much you can do with food and lifestyle to improve these markers!
