(How To Make Your Own Gel)We recommend cleaning your sea moss twice to make sure it is cleaned thoroughly. Simply place your dried sea moss in a large bowl, cover it with water, and massage the sea moss. Be sure to remove any visible dirt and debris.
Add lemon slices or squeeze one lemon into the water to remove the sea water taste (it’s fresh from the ocean)
After cleaning the sea moss, place the sea moss in a large bowl and cover it with filtered, alkaline, or spring water. Make sure all the parts of the sea moss are covered. Then, cover the sea moss and allow it to soak for at least 12-24 hours. You can leave it on the counter covered at room temperature. You do not need to soak the sea moss in the refrigerator.
Once it is done soaking it will have expanded as it has absorbed the water. It is now ready to use. You can leave the sea moss in this state and use as needed, or prepare a sea moss gel (highly recommended).
We prefer to soak it raw to maintain the highest integrity and nutrient content and do not boil.
Blend for 60 seconds with one 17.5 Oz bottle of spring water
Keep refrigerated for up to 8 weeks and take 1-2 Tbsp in your smoothie or juice or oatmeal.
