We’re excited to share that our Parkinson’s Support Group is moving to an in-person format at Elevate! Each month, we’ll gather for connection, encouragement, and learning. Plus, a guest speaker will join us to share insights on topics that matter most to those impacted by Parkinson’s!

Next week, we'll talk about how different therapies can benefit those living with Parkinson's with Perham Health's Tess Kalberer, OT and specialized Parkinson's trained therapist.

According to Minnesota state law, people aged 55 and older who complete a state approved defensive driving course are eligible to receive a 10%, three-year discount on auto insurance. The class consists of lecture, videos, and discussions. There is no behind-the-wheel driving and there are no tests.

Topics range from defensive driving, current rules of the road, bad weather and information on the 4 impairments that drivers face. As well as managing the risks that are present on our roads. We also cover navigating newer and sometimes confusing road layouts such as roundabouts, J-Turns, DDI's and the ever advancing technology of today's vehicles.
