Hi there healthy friends! I'm writing this post to let you all know that I'm taking a break from this page for a while. I am still here for anyone that needs help, but I can't keep up with my page for now. Our family is in a new season of life and our priorities have changed. I know I talk alot about living a natural, holistic lifestyle over here on my page, but I truly believe there is a time and a place for Western medicine. This is a reminder for you, but also to myself that it's nothing to be ashamed of if it's needed, and we should be thankful that God gave us pharmaceuticals to use if all else fails! 📣Bringing back recipe Wednesday! This is one of our absolute FAVORITES around here. I make it atleast 2 times a month. I've altered the recipe a bit from the original, so I'll share that here. I don't use the curry, cayenne or cilantro. I throw parsley in instead. I don't even use the lime cause I think it has enough flavor! I also use probably 6 packs of ramen and double the veggies and broth. Me and some of the kids top ours with hot sauce and use chopsticks...it's more fun that way! We use coconut milk made with 2 ingredients (this one is at Walmart!) PLEASE don't use those nasty packs of instant ramen, there are healthier alternatives, like this one I have posted! I buy these huge packs at Costco, but lots of grocery stores carry smaller packs in the ethnic foods section and you can find them made with whatever grains you prefer.🍜

Smoothies are always a good breakfast idea. They can be super filling and nutritious!🤤👍
My kids got a strawberry, banana, peanut butter smoothie with raw milk and collagen/protein. They also ate a slice of sourdough toast.🍓🍌🥜🥛🍞
I can't have any of the stuff that was in their smoothie except for the collagen, so mine consisted of wild blueberries, cherries, beets and oatmilk. One of my favorite flavor combinations!🫐🍒

Oatmeal! Oatmeal does NOT have to be bland. There are many things to add to oatmeal and ways to "jazz it up". I use sprouted oats because again, sprouted is easier to digest. I love to top mine with wild blueberries, raspberries, almond butter and chia seeds!
🤔Did you know that wild blueberries are one of the best foods for pulling toxins out of the body? They truly are a super food. Not only are they delicious, they are so good for you!🫐🫐🫐
*I buy these big bags at Costco, but you can find both at most stores. The wild blueberries in most stores are the Wyman's brand.*

Applegate sausages are our favorite brand, and we go through atleast 2 bags of these a month...and guess what, you can buy these at Walmart! We also buy these sprouted bagels and go through a few bags a month. We buy them from Azure and they also have an everything bagel that we use for quick lunches or dinners on the go. *If you do not have celiac but have a gluten intolerance, sprouted breads are easier to digest and are sometimes tolerated, and this is a really clean brand! If you are fine with gluten and don't buy through Azure then I recommend Dave's Killer bagels which Walmart also sells.*
So today's breakfast was bagel with miyokos butter, topped with apples and honey, Applegate sausage and mango...so yummy!🥯🥭

This one comes together quickly, especially if you cut up the fruit the night before. If you can't handle dairy, substitute some coconut yogurt. Keep this one in your weekly rotation because kids love being able to make their own bowls. Ezri is showing off hers! (She doesn't like too much granola😀)🍓🥝

I HAVE to have some sort of protein to start my day or I can't make it until lunch. I know kale has a bad rap, but you are missing out if you have never sauteed it in bacon grease! It gets the best crispiness to the leaves and tastes SO good! This is a favorite breakfast of mine. Sauteed kale with bacon, and add a starch. Potatoes are fantastic with this one! (P.S. Cooking kale this way is a sure fire way to get your kids to eat it...veggies and fats all in one...win win!!)🤤🥓
