Happy October!!! New Month means New Challenges, New Goals and Opportunities...
It's been some ages since I've checked in, so let's do this my way, with a few challenges!!
I signed up for 2 this month:
- Hawaiian Airlines HoloHolo Challenge- 50 miles to be completed by yhe end of the month
- American Cancer Society - 25 Burpees per day for the entire month
I will be checking in here, sharing my progress, ups and downs and anything that just spills out 😁
Note to self - Don't do these back to back!!
Today's Meals Included
- Lunch: Egg white omelette with spinach & tuna
- Snack: Protein shake with Banana & Coconut PeanutButter
-Snack: Blueberries & 1/2 Pear
- Dinner: Spinach Salad, Topped with clementine & tilapia
- Recovery Shake

New challenge!

645 - 45min workouts, 6 days a week. Today was Day 1 - Lower Body Strength

When I start a new challenge, here are a few things that I do to keep my sanity & accountability:
- Full Body Pictures
- Full Body Measurements
- Calculate my Calories intake accordingly
- Journal every intake (food, water, supplements)
- Make note of my struggle and/or gains daily
- Spend 15min at night reading and/or listening to PD

Most of all, have fun and level up every phase!

Today's workout had a few moves I enjoyed, like the Chop and the Seesaw Lunges. All these moves made me sweat and burn calories!

Yesterday's workout was all about Glutes & Core and let me say my b***y burned baby!!

The core workouts was 60s on and back to back, I couldn't wait to stop! Today they hurt 😂 but its an awesome hurt!

Day #171 and my house is quiet 🤫 it is only 5am what am I doing I am on vacation 🤣

Today is one day I should sleep in but I just couldn't oh well! Felt refresh and ready to go as it was about me today, relaxing after my workout!!

NOTE: So excited I forgot to take before pictures, so here is after 😂 all sweaty and all, I use a waist trainer daily with my workout, I need every fat crying!!!

Epic #21 Legs and Core! Today was a bit different because we did complex movements...

3min, 4 exercises no rest. 1min rest when time is up and repeat for round 2. There were total 6 sets of complex moves and the exercise lasted about 50min.

Talk about burn, full body burn!

Day #170 I woke up thinking yes I don't work 🤣 what am I thinking I work on my vacay!!!

TODAY was a great morning! Deep breathes & meditation, my I Am Affirmationsand then my workout!! I moved journaling to the evenings when I am settled down so I can relax and not worry!

I almost stepped on the scale but didn't, I turned and looked in my mirror and said YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL thats all that matters!!

Btw not feeling shorts for my workout 🤣

Today was Shoulders & Biceps, super quick workout but very effective as well.

35 minutes total with 45s on + 15s off for my Shoulders Workout. Then 30s on + 30s off for my Bicep workouts!

I utilized 10lbs for my Flys and Laterals and then 12lbs for the rest!!! We arms are getting stronger all around, the 10lbs are getting lighter and I can push harder with the 12lbs! Time to level up next week!!

Day #168 and I am so tired LOL, I don't even know why as I slept pretty early LOL!!! It is just one of them days that my entire body just wants to take a break!!!

Epic #19 - 1 hour FULL BODY workout and this one was hella sweaty!! More than the others lol...

This workout had a complex mive every 4th exercise!
- 2 squats
- 2 Romanian deadlift
- 2 rows
- 2 shoulder press

We worked 45s and 15s off. Repeating each movement 2x and moving to the next for 45s,followed by a complex!!!

This is a great workout and I would do it again!!!

Cardio Day - and I was able to add about 2.5 miles 8n towards my HoloHolo Challenge and to think I was going to stay home to dance LOL! But when the weather is beautiful, put shoes on and hit the pavement!!!

Epic #18 - Chest & Triceps Day! I am loving my upper body workouts, something I know I need more work on...

This work out is a superset workout with 45s on + 45s on + 30s off and last about 40min!

I used 10lbs & 12lbs today as the burn is perfect and I know I am not ready for 12lbs + 15lbs, hopefully next week!!

Epic #16 - 45min of Back & Biceps with a Dumbbell Workout!

It was all about 10lbs, 12lbs & a few 15lbs. 30s on + 30s off, 2sets per movement & per side!!

This sweat session worked my "wings" and biceps, stremgthing my back and toning! Felt awesome to 🔥
