Join me at Upward Light Healing and Yoga in Downtown Mesa this and every Friday from 10:30 to 11:30am to open your heart through song. I will lead sacred songs honoring nature and Bhakti chants calling on the Divine within.

Bring a song to share and/or instruments to play if you have them. Most important, bring your voice and your open heart. All are welcome.

Suggested Donation $10-$15 cash, Venmo or PayPal.

The practice of making a nature mandala or offering has become my morning ritual and how I connect with the Divine, the energy of Life, and the formerly dormant creative part of myself. It is bringing new life to my spirituality and nurturing my connection to the feminine.

I just got off the phone with an amazing woman.

We connected to her 3 year old self and found where she was holding onto sadness, anger and resentment in her body.

We uncovered the story of how, starting at that very young age, she shut down her voice and absorbed others' emotions as a way to not be a burden.

We discussed how this served her then and what it cost her then and now in her life and relationships.

We invited in her Higher Power to absorb up all of the old emotions, patterns and stories she released.

And she received a beautiful gift from her Higher Power that was deeply meaningful to her.

We explored what it is that she wanted then and now and what steps she can take to create a new pattern in her life.

She ended the call feeling lighter, more open and connected to her true self.

I had an absolute blast this afternoon chatting with Beth Griffith and Katie Lambert on MOMnation Unscripted! We discussed inner child work and what I do as a Certified Facilitator of Emotional Release Processing/Integrative Processing Technique.

Due to tech issues we were not able to go live on their page as planned but I will drop the link here as soon as it is available.

While our live Bhakti & Breathwork events are on hold due to COVID-19 the work of Find Your Phoenix continues with 1:1 Emotional Release Processing sessions by phone.

I have been both receiving and facilitating sessions by phone since I was a student and they are just as powerful as those done in person.

Many thanks to Katori Noor who led us in her Gayatri chant tonight, the oldest known recorded mantra! And to Eric Rehnke for guiding us through a powerful 45 minute breathwork journey. Looking forward to doing it again at Bhakti & Breathwork on Monday, March 16th!

Oops! I forgot to get a picture tonight at Bhakti & Breathwork. We had a smaller group this time but it was so beautiful to be in the Bhav with Debbie Mastry on harmonium. And we were all able to receive reiki from Eric Renhke while he guided us in the breathwork. So looking forward to doing this again next Monday!

The group picture didn't turn out but we packed the house tonight for Bhakti & Breathwork!
