Our residents are committed to racial and social justice. Yesterday some of our residents participated in Seattle’s Land Day Commemoration March. Land Day commemorates the events of March 30, 1976, when the Israeli occupation ordered the confiscation of 5,000 acres of Palestinian land and six Palestinians were murdered while resisting. In Gaza and the West Bank Palestinians are continuing to lose their lives and their homes at the hands of the Zionist regime. Our residents know that all of our liberation is bound up together-as so many have said, none of us our free until all of us are free.

We feel beyond blessed and grateful that these 15 incredible doctors will be joining us in Seattle. Our communities are so lucky to have you and we can't wait to welcome you come June!! 🌸

Each of our classes has a blocked weekend each year for a choose your own adventure retreat. The Class of 2025 had theirs this past weekend - much needed restoration before coming back to the (metaphorical and physical) fires facing our communities.

Today was our graduation for the original residency clinic - Swedish Cherry Hill! Unlike our community partner sites, we typically have 4 residents per year rather than 2. Congratulations to Dr. Yanzi Jiang, Dr. Arthi Narayanan and Dr. Wendy Coard!
