🍂 A Gentle Equinox Ritual for Seekers of Balance

As the wheel turns and light meets shadow in perfect poise, we’re invited into a sacred pause, a moment to honor what has ripened, what is ready to fall away, and what still glows within.

Here is a simple home ritual to mark the Autumn Equinox:

🕯️ 1. Candle at Sunset

At twilight, light a single candle. Let its flame mirror the golden hush of the season. Sit quietly and ask: What am I ready to release? Let the falling light carry away what no longer serves.

🌾 2. Harvest Reflection

Write down what you’ve gathered this year, lessons, blessings, growth. What has come to fruition? What surprised you? Place your words beneath a seasonal token (a leaf, an acorn, a sprig of rosemary) as a symbol of gratitude.

🌍 3. Earth & Ancestor Offering

Step outside if you can. Pour a libation of water, wine, or herbal tea onto the soil. Speak aloud a word of thanks to the land that holds you, and to the ancestors who walk with you. If indoors, place your offering on an altar or windowsill with intention.

This ritual is a threshold, a quiet honoring of balance, descent, and the beauty of change. Let it be gentle. Let it be yours.
