Have you been a mother in this situation? It doesn’t last forever, just feels like it at the time, cute poem by a mom!

The Dairy Queen

At 2 AM, my shift begins,
With sleepy eyes and tired grins.
My tiny boss demands his pay—
A milk buffet with no delay!

He latches on like he’s been starved,
(Though ten minutes ago, he nursed hard.)
His little hands play pat-a-cake,
While I just hope my back won’t break.

One side’s empty—switch him over!
Oh no—he’s now a milk-drenched rover.
My shirt is soaked, my bed is too,
Guess it’s time for outfit two.

Day and night, I’m on demand,
A walking, talking milk stand.
But someday soon, I know I’ll miss,
These milky snuggles, pure bliss.

So for now, I’ll let him feast,
Because, for him, I am The Dairy Queen—at least!

When you receive help, makes all the difference!

Hey, now!
L👀K at this momma smile!
“Relief!” she said to me.
This month old baby had only been fed with a ni**le shield, and with a good about of pain.

So much so, mom had only pumped in the last few days. She was bleeding and really uncomfortable.

So- we tried a few different positions and latches and BAM 💥
RELIEF! And this kiddo transferred almost 4 ounces, no ni**le damage and a deep sigh from mom that she could feed her baby.

This position has continued to amaze me - and some happy mommas are grateful!

IBCLCS know how to make it better. Get the help you need BEFORE feeding becomes the dumpster fire 🔥 that gets you off your plan..

Yes, that’s all true. I have delivered babies for 22 years, and have been working to help birthing families become new parents for almost 30 years! Experience is knowledge!
