We get asked daily about Florida Blue BCBS; sadly they have denied us entrance onto their panel; however we are appealing their decision. We could use your help, let your Florida Blue customer service rep know that you request we be given a seat on their panel (you communication goes further than ours with BCBS).

I just got home from an amazing 2 day “Florida Nurses Association Advocacy Days,” in Tallahassee, which was packed with educational sessions, and Legislator Appointments at the State Capitol, where we met with House Representative Jason Shoaf and his Legislative Aide LeAnn Emerson Bunton, House Representative Shane Abbott, House Representative Allison Tant Richard, State Senator Corey Simon and Legislative Aides Stephen Huddleston, Peter Lissarrague, and Devonique Taylor. They were all so amazing for taking time to listen to us, and for being so receptive to the Florida Nurses Association and Florida Nurse Practitioner Network top priorities we advocated for in the 2023 session.
I couldn’t be more grateful for my experiences over the last 2 days, and best of all I was able to share those experiences with my mentors and friends, Dr. Monica Barfield and Dr. Kathleen Wilson.
