Yes!!!!!

Beautiful woman photo challenge!! Post yours in the comments below and I’ll do the same!!!

🩷Normalize women posting photos of themselves because they think they look pretty.
💙Normalize friends carrying cameras to catch candid moments of joy with killer filters and celebrating one another’s accomplishments.
🧡 Normalize women celebrating her body and it having nothing to do with her weight.
.
🩵Normalize liking and sharing a posted photo of a friend because you think she is radiant in the image.
💙Normalize seeing a photo of another woman without critiquing or comparing.
🩷 Normalize posting a photo of yourself without feeling the pressure to make it spiritual or deep to justify it as a post.
🧡 Normalize seeing a woman in ministry in her love for fashion and beauty without it being something broken in her screaming for attention.
🩵 Normalize women being women unapologetically.
💙 Women, it’s okay to share a photo of yourself because you like the way you look and you’re proud of who you are becoming.
We celebrate you.

God has us all on different assignments but the enemy is seeking who he can devour. It’s time to wake up! 1 Peter 5:8 gives us a warning about this very thing. “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

The enemy would love for you to give up. We need to stay alert, and to be on guard because he and his posse will do whatever they need to do to try to defeat us. Get some fight back in you! I know it’s not been easy, life can throw us some curveballs that can devastate us, but ladies it’s not time to quit! Resist the enemy, and he will flee! The Name of Jesus is more powerful than the enemies manipulative tactics that he’s been using on you!

Today I pray...”Jesus fire us up to combat every negative thought, every negative word, and every unhealthy emotion that raises its ugly head. Remove the wrong voices and influences out of our life, and out of our ear. Protect us from the enemy’s tactics that are trying to discourage us. We submit to YOU…We resist everything that is the opposite of Who You are. In Jesus name!”

God has you!!

The number 41 represents the dawn of a new day—the hope and promise that if you don’t quit, the rain will stop, the giant will fall, and you will enter your “promised land.”

Join me tomorrow for day 41… our journey out of the wilderness of 40 days of finding our identity in Christ

After Noah built the ark, it rained for 40 days and 40 nights. Day 41 came, and the rain stopped. After Moses committed murder, he hid in the desert for 40 years. Year 41 came, and God gave Moses a second chance—commissioning him to rescue Israel from slavery in Egypt. After the Exodus, the children of Israel wandered in the wilderness for 40 years. Year 41 came, and a new generation entered the Promised Land. For 40 days, Goliath bullied Israel, just begging for someone to come fight him. Day 41 came, and David stepped up and slew the giant. For 40 days, Jonah delivered a message of doom and gloom to the city of Nineveh—that God was going to destroy them because of their wickedness. Day 41 came, and God changed his mind and instead extended mercy because the Ninevites had repented. After being baptized, Jesus fasted in the desert for 40 days and was tempted by the devil. Day 41 came, the devil fled, angels showed up, and Jesus launched his monumental ministry. During the 40 days after his resurrection, Jesus appeared to his disciples on several occasions—proving to them that he was alive and breathing new life into them as he explained the Kingdom of God and commissioned them to build it. On day 41, after promising to send the Holy Spirit in his place, he ascended into heaven, leaving the disciples to carry out his plan for launching the church—a church that, by the way, is still prevailing against the gates of hell.

Today we rest and we honor the beginning of His last week, Palm Sunday, shout Hosanna! - save us, Jesus we love you, we long for your presence upon us, we sing your Holy name and worship you. We will live for you, we will die to self in your name, Oh Jesus, Son of God, how wonderful you are!

The first day of His last week.

We find Him at the Mount of Olives preparing to enter Jerusalem - His mind and His heart fixed on the plan.

I picture Him there.

Knowing what this meant. Knowing that His triumphant entry into the city would end just days later in the horror of the cross.

He knew.

He knew that the people He loved so much - the ones laying down palms and clothes, shouting “Hosanna!” as He rode in - would sneer insults soon enough.

He knew His friend would betray Him with a kiss.

He knew the stories spun against Him. The rejection. The hate.

He knew.

He knew.

And even in the knowing, He sends for the donkey.

And today as He enters the city, and steps into His last week, He knew about you. And about me too.

Because He steps forward today for us.

He gets up on that donkey and makes His way into the last days of The Plan for us.

What would we have done that week?

Would we have greeted Him with palms and “Hosanna!” today and then join the masses screaming, “Crucify Him” on Friday?

While I picture Him there - Jesus, making His way with more love than I can fathom into the city - I also look for myself in that crowd.

Where is my heart as He looks me in the eyes? How do I honour Him?

How do I follow Him?

How do I love Him back?

How do we show Him - Jesus, the Son of God, the King of Kings, the Messiah. How do we show Him we stand with Him and for Him?

We decide to not look away. We step forward with Him.

We stand for Him and with Him. We give everything we have to help fulfill
His mission. We say “yes.”

So as we head into this last week together, stepping forward with Jesus, may we keep our minds and our hearts fixed on the plan.

May we not look away. May we remember what He’s doing and Who He is.

Jesus,
We see You. We see what You’re doing and what You’ve done.

Thank You for staying fixed on the plan. For knowing what You were facing, and doing it anyway. For not changing Your mind. For making a way for us.

We’re with You Jesus. Amen
❤️

“And when he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, saying “Who is this?” And the crowds said, “This is the prophet Jesus, from Nazareth of Galilee.” Matt.21:10-11
