Standing on top of a mountain 🏔️ with a camera in my hand, I think about how many seasons God has led me through.

Over 13 years ago, I walked into a job interview that had nothing to do with fitness… yet two weeks later I was in Georgia training to become a CrossFit coach. That opportunity led me into coaching, ownership, and building communities I deeply loved. And while I achieved those dreams, God placed new ones on my heart.

Just like I had to leave one career to start another, I had to let go of something good in order to step into something new. That’s not failure…. that’s G R O W T H. That’s change.

Along the way, I always reminded the coaches, staff, and interns I worked with: your identity has to be more than just what you do. Because if life changes, if the role shifts, or if something ends… you can’t be left lost.

That’s why I’ve always anchored myself in God’s Word and what He says about who I am: chosen, set apart, planted, with plans to prosper, not to harm, but to give hope and a future.

It’s easy to read those promises. It’s another thing to walk them out. But every season of transition… from gyms to media, from one chapter to the next… has been proof that His Word is true.

My identity isn’t wrapped up in the role I play or the title I hold… it’s rooted in who I’m becoming, who I serve, and ultimately in Christ alone.

🙏 Your work may change, but your true identity is unshakable when it’s found in Him.
