Wanted to let everyone know mom is home. She was released Wednesday. She is getting settled in and still has a ways to go before she is back to her gogo lifestyle but she is home.

Seeing mom was great yesterday! She had some huge victories. No more feeding tube and she got moved to the physical therapy floor!!

I am selling strawberry jam. Small jar $4. Large jar $6 or 2 for $10. Hit pad holders are $5 a set. I will have homemade bread available after 5pm as I bake it fresh n it takes a while to go through the rising process. Please pm if Interested. Selling to cover travel expenses to see my mom in the hospital in Idaho falls.

Yesterdays surgery went well. They began closing the wounds on her stomach. She still has wounds on her leg going to her back side. They are finally able to begin putting her back together!!!

Mom surgery today will hopefully begin closing some wounds. I will update again once she is out of surgery n I spoke with the Dr

Mom surgery went well yesterday. Not enough healing yet to start closing some of the wounds. They are looking at possibly Friday.

Seen mom for a little today she is on the 3rd floor which is the surgical floor. Better than the ICU. She is eating regular food and is happy about that.

Mom is likely being moved to the 3rd floor, recovery floor. She was able to conversate with me today for about 20 minutes. So good to get a glimpse of her personality today!

I am selling strawberry jam to help cover costs while my mom is in the hospital. If anyone is interested in buying some or donating I will be in Hailey on Friday@2 and in Idaho falls Friday through Sunday. Please pm if you are interested. Medium jars are $5. Large jars are $8. I have 5 jars of apple-pepper. They are medium for $6.00.

Surgery #6
The Dr placed a wound vac on her wounds. The purpose is the eliminate dressing changes, which are so painful, and help her heal from inside out. She is pretty uncomfortable today but did manage to walk in place for a few minutes during physical therapy.
