✨ Today my yogi started class by reminding us that this is our one hour of self care for the day. And it struck me—so many of us are constantly pouring into others, yet rarely give ourselves the same care and attention.

Here’s the truth: self care doesn’t have to be complicated, long, or perfect. What matters is making it a priority.

Think about what feels realistic for you:
🧘 One hour of yoga to reset your body and mind
🚶 A 30-minute walk to clear your head
🌬️ Even 5 minutes of deep breathing with calming music

Every choice you make to care for yourself is beneficial. Each moment you give yourself is an investment in your health, energy, and balance.

So instead of saying, “I don’t have time,” try asking, “How can I create even a little time for me today?”

Your body, mind, and spirit will thank you. 💛

Many of my clients ask me how to eat healthier without completely changing their lifestyle. My go-to answer is simple: focus on reducing processed foods.

Processed foods often contain added sugars, unhealthy fats, excess sodium, and preservatives that our bodies don’t need. Over time, these can contribute to inflammation, fatigue, digestive issues, and even chronic conditions.

On the other hand, whole foods—like fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, beans, and lean proteins—are packed with nutrients, fiber, and antioxidants that support energy, digestion, and long-term health.

This doesn’t mean you need to go raw, vegan, or cut out every convenience food. The key is balance: when shopping, aim for less processed, the better. Think carrots instead of chips, oatmeal instead of sugary cereal, or chicken breast instead of frozen nuggets.

It’s one simple rule that makes a big difference in how you feel—without making your diet feel complicated. 🌱✨

One of the most common things I hear from clients is “I don’t have time to exercise” or “I don’t have a gym membership.” Here’s the good news—you don’t need either of those to move your body and feel the benefits. 💪✨

Movement doesn’t have to mean hours at the gym. It can be dancing in your living room, walking with a friend, listening to your favorite podcast while you jog, or even turning chores into a mini workout. The key is to make it fun and something you actually look forward to!

When you shift the focus from formal exercise to simply moving more, it becomes easier to fit into your day—and more enjoyable too. 🌿

Life is meant to be Activated!!!!

Sometimes we can get pulled down by the pressure of life, especially if you are in a difficult situation like I found myself in for a while. Being the step mom of 2 kids, one with special needs, working way too many hours and forgetting about my health and happiness led me to make some drastic changes and literally Activate myself from the inside out.

Its not an easy journey alone which is why I want to share what I have learned along the way and help you activate your life, body, mind, and spirit. Hopefully helping you find that smile that makes your face glow bright and your loved ones shine with you; because when Momma is happy - everything just flows a little better.
