Evexia Counseling and Consultation, PLLC We provide professional mental health services at reduced prices, with a goal to further reduce prices through charitable giving and community associations.

Mental health counseling can cost between $100-$170 before insurance, with an average around $120 per session. For those without health insurance, who are underinsured, or who want to maintain as much privacy as possible, this is a steep price to pay for care. Through associations with local organizations, Evexia has reduced the cost of sessions to $75/session during business hours (8 am- 5 pm) and $90/session for evenings and weekends. In addition to this, it is the goal of Evexia to further reduce the cost of care. Our goal is to raise money through charitable giving with an associating not-for-profit to supplement the cost of therapy to everyone. This will also increase our ability to provide services entirely or nearly free to those with the greatest financial needs. I ran some numbers today. In 2020, Evexia's first year of operation, just under $33,000 was brought in as revenue. Based on my calculations comparing this to the cost of an average session (set at $125 per session in this comparison), Evexia clients saved about $27, 414.49 throughout the year (average cost per session estimated at $68/session). We are on mission and pushing ahead to try to lower the cost of mental health care and make this more accessible to those in need. It's 2021 and time for some change from 2020. Evexia has already been going strong for nearly a year. In that time we have had steady growth with mental health counseling prices well under the average cost ($65-$80 instead of around $125 per session). In 2021, I will be hosting a series of community dialogues in which people can meet (virtually until it is safe to meet in person again) to discuss how the cost of mental health treatment can further be reduced in the triad of NC (Forsyth and surrounding counties). If you would like to join these discussions and have not been invited, please reach out to me directly. If you're unsure of how to contribute, please consider referring people in need of counseling so that we can continue to grow and operate sustainably.
