WHO ARE WE?

Core Treatment Services Inc. was founded in 2018 as a resolution to the lack of treatment and recovery resources within the Manitowoc community. Business partners Pastor Chris Gilbert and Carmen Persaud LPC CSAC ICS, combined Chris's experience in establishing two sober living homes and Carmen's twenty year history working with individuals facing mental health and substance use disorders to create a program that fills the persistent gaps in Manitowoc's treatment services.

Since the founding of CORE, the non-profit has had the fortune of many community supporters, including Brett Norrell, President and CEO of Holy Family Memorial- thus leading to the partnership of CORE Treatment Services Inc. and HFM. Both Chris and Carmen are passionate about their work and dedicated to being a part of the changing landscape in Manitowoc County. They are grateful to have partners in the community who are just as passionate.

The mission of CORE Treatment Services, Inc is to make Manitowoc County the healthiest recovery community in the state. We believe that when you treat the individual, you treat the community. When addicted individuals are healed holistically, at their CORE, families are reunited, employers get better employees, communities get leaders, and we change the trajectory of lives for generations. We start by treating the CORE of the individual, but the impact fans out to the entire community because of the profound ripple effect that healing from addiction has.
