Grind culture can cause you to constantly stay in survival mode, causing chronic stress. This type of stress response significantly affects your cognitive functioning. You become easily distracted or reactive, it also diminishes your analytical and creative abilities. Long term ongoing stress can increase the risk for hypertension, heart attack or stroke. Be mindful of the constant "grind culture" it doesnt allow your body to rest and replenish in the way it needs to. It's okay to take a break, slow down, and breathe... its neccessary!! Stacking unused PTO days and not taking a break is not a badge of honor it's a sign of neglect. It shows you are prioritizing something else instead of yourself. Why?
