“Jana is a mom of 1 and experienced breastfeeding grief in her child’s first year. She is a licensed psychologist (PsyD) in NJ and PA and just opened her own virtual practice, Emotionally Nourished Therapy, named after the idea that the best feeding option for your child is what is most emotionally nourishing for your family. She espouses this in her work within and outside of the perinatal population—working with women across the reproductive to postpartum spectrum; professional women; and women wishing to reclaim or strengthen her relationship with self.

Jana is a PSI volunteer, leading the breastfeeding grief group and does presentations on this topic. She also volunteers for Three Little Birds. Jana very much values collaboration amongst perinatal professionals, and is creating a South Jersey professional community to help enhance referrals and collaboration amongst professionals.
