Engineering a Safer World Engineering a Safer World is a non-profit competition, based on the belief that multi-disciplinary c colleges. Winners will be announced.

COMPETITION DETAILS:
WHO CAN ENTER:
 Any college student, graduate or undergraduate, can participate.
 Team members do not have to be from the same university.
 Submissions that are part of a classroom effort or capstone project are eligible and encouraged.
 Teams can have a faculty advisor, but this is not a requirement.
 Multiple teams from the same university can participate.

on is currently restricted to students in U.S. An international version of this safety competition is in the making for future roll-out. REMEMBER THE DATES:
 November 1, 2021: Registration opens. There are no registration fees.
 December 30, 2021: Deadline for registering.
 May 31, 2022: Submissions are due.
 June 10: Top 5 submission will be announced and invited to an online event.
 June 20: Top 5 submissions will present to the panel of experts and external guests from government, industry, and academia at an online event. WHAT CAN YOU WIN?
 Top prize: $5,000 for the overall best submission.
 Second and third place: $2,500 and $1,500 respectively.
 Top 5 submissions will receive broad recognition and exposure, unranked teams will receive $500 each. Certificates of achievement will be presented to the winning teams
