Excellent work by the professionals at Oakmont.

This month we focus on the core element of movement. Each Oakmont community offers a fitness center with wellness classes including stretching and yoga. By staying active our residents improve flexibility, mental health, and cognitive function all while decreasing risk of falls. Our new fall prevention program, OakBalance, is designed to keep residents on their feet using state of the art technology. In under 3 minutes, participants are screened for opportunities to improve gait, balance and function then prescribed improvement exercises so that they can continue to enjoy an active life while minimizing risk of falling.
