Do you like to solve problems? Are you a people person? If so, we may be a good fit for you. Law Office of Shannon DeWall, PLLC is seeking a paralegal to become a part of our team! We are seeking a highly motivated paralegal to assist with Medicaid applications, Probate, Estate Planning, and Trust Administration. This is a full-time position. We are a small firm in Livonia practicing in the area of elder law, estate planning, and special needs planning.

Responsibilities:
• Perform and monitor all aspects of probate and trust administration, including decedent estates, guardianships, and conservatorships.
• Assist with government benefit filings, such as Medicaid applications.
• Conduct meetings with clients.
• Perform legal research.
• Draft and review legal documents, including estate planning documents.
• Record and store client information.

Qualifications:
• Experience in Trust and Estate Administration.
• Familiarity with legal research.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Work independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Deadline and detail oriented.
• Excellent math and computer skills, including Word and Excel.
• Motivated, self-starter with the ambition to grow with our company

Compensation:
$52,000 to $60,000 per year salary
