The first class, hopefully of many more to come, of the UCSF Fresno IRC Pre-Medical Surgical Internship (PSI) has been selected. We are so excited for this group of people. All of the candidates were excellent and we wish we could offer all of the interviewees a spot. Unfortunately, we only have room this year for 6. We look forward to working with our 6 excellent PSI students and we wish all the best to those who applied and interviewed. Special shout out to Larry Riley, Lilia de la Cerda, Susan Logan, Milena Ocon and our subcommittee leader Yazen Qumsiyeh for all their hard work.

We’re reviewing all of the Pre-medical Surgical Internship (PSI) applications now. Should be done this week. We will select 15-20 students for an interview soon! PSI is slated to start September 2021! Pretty exciting!
