RWJBarnabas Health Medical Group and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting of RWJBarnabas Health Primary & Specialty Care alongside Mayor Raymond Giacobbe — an exciting milestone bringing together Heart & Vascular, General Surgery, and Pulmonology services, with Primary Care coming soon, all within one modern, unified suite. The new state-of-the-art multispecialty center reflects our continued commitment to clinical excellence, advanced technology, and patient-centered care for the Rahway community.

• The Rahway Cardiology Program offers comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic care with advanced diagnostic testing and a multidisciplinary, patient-focused approach.
• Specialty Care of Rahway provides coordinated access to general surgery, heart & vascular, bariatric surgery, and wound care services. .

Nurses and community health workers from our hospital participated in Rahway’s Mind Your Wellness event at the town’s recreation center. Throughout the day, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway experts performed blood pressure screenings and glucose checks. In addition, staff also socialized with and connected residents to appropriate healthcare resources. Local fitness experts, nutritionists, holistic practitioners, youth and other wellness related resources were also available at the event.

The future of RWJUH Rahway! We hosted Take Your Child to Work Day and children of current employees in grades four through eight were invited to be an employee of the hospital for a day. They got to visit areas like the Pharmacy, Rehabilitation Services, the Emergency Department, Facilities, the ambulances and more. Thank you to all those who volunteered and participated.
