A generous thank you to all that participated and supported our annual summer Blood Drive!

During this very important effort to help replenish the blood supply, we collected 22 units of blood. From those units, 14 units of fresh frozen plasma were manufactured and as many as 36 lives will be positively impacted.

More than 500 team members throughout RWJBarnabas Health recently came together to recognize excellence and innovation at our 16th Annual Quality and Patient Safety Forum.

Quality and Patient Experience are the foundation of everything we do and reflect our commitment to providing the safest, most effective and compassionate care possible.

Following Quality and Patient Safety Fairs held throughout the system, 50+ podium and poster presentations were exhibited at the Forum on topics including patient safety, employee engagement, patient experience and population health. Jim Merlino, EVP and Chief Innovation Officer of the Joint Commission, provided the keynote address.

A collaborative sharing of ideas, creativity and passion, the Quality and Patient Safety Forum demonstrated the power of a multi-disciplinary approach as we fulfill our mission to build and sustain a healthier New Jersey.
