Been wondering about cannabis for your pelvic floor?

CBD is short for cannabidiol or (the non-psychoactive cannabinoid molecule in the cannabis plant). It is highly prevalent in the cannabis plant and its therapeutic benefits are abundant. What’s a Pelvic Drop?
Let’s be honest… most people don’t like saying the word suppository. It’s not particularly sexy or fun sounding. A K***a Drop is our cheeky (a little less medical) name for our suppositories. Drops are small insertable pellets that deliver medication or other active ingredients into your body. Drops work through direct absorption via the walls of va**na or the re**um without needing to go through the digestive tract. The warmth of your body will melt the Drop which will allow for your body to absorb the active ingredients.

Drops have the benefit of working locally on the pelvic tissues (va**na or re**um) and also systemically by being absorbed into the bloodstream. The ingredients in Nourish and Blossom have both local and systemic effects. Cocoa butter, hyaluronic acid, and Vit E promote local hydration and nourishment. There is also a local and systemic effect of the CBD and CBG in Blossom as there are many cannabinoid receptors in the pelvic region (particularly the uterus).

A little hello from co-founder, Dr. Sherine Aubert, DPT, PRPC: Hiya! I am a mama who lives with passion whisking me through life. This passion has moved me through graduate school to land a career dedicated to all things pelvic related as a Pelvic Physical Therapist. I believe anyone with a pelvis deserves pleasure and to understand its multifactorial characteristics- it looks different for everyone. Blending clean products, a healthy dose of nature, honoring a self care ritual, and living with an open mind to creativity has worked as my own pleasure practice over the years. K***a was born and founded in a creative whirlwind with an intention to improve confidence, bathroom and bedroom practices, and creativity. Let the passion move through you in all seasons and stages of life, I know I do!

Let’s talk ingredients! We’ve sourced the cleanest components for Blossom that we could find to make a potent and effective Drop for your pelvic floor. The beauty of our Blossom Drops is pretty simple. We’ve used 250mg of organically grown CBD and CBG (promoting relaxation and anti-inflammation effects) from h**p oil and combined that with 5% hyaluronic acid (for juicy hydration). We use an organic cocoa butter and beeswax base that makes our Drop smell so good! Our maker does such an excellent job of creating quality Drops for us every time!
