Mom, you’ve been my sweet angel, my biggest cheerleader, my professional role model, my patient teacher, my financial supporter and caring nurturer.

thank you for the grace that you modeled navigating the ups and downs of life and for the devotion and loyalty that you have demonstrated to our family

You’re my rock, mama and at 90 years young I still see that sparkle in your eye, and joy in your heart, even though mind and body are not what they used to be.

Thank you for the gift of this life and steady guiding presence every step of the way.

happy Mother’s Day

58 years ago today I made the courageous leap out of the cosmic womb into the arena of this fabulous journey we call LIFE. 🌟

There been so many extraordinary experiences, the whole gambit of human emotions, so many beautiful souls have crossed my path and made my life better. Others taught me something important even if I didn’t want to learn it and others left behind a scar to remember how fragile the human heart is and to treat myself and others with kindness.

I have so much gratitude 🙏🙏🙏 for the blessings of this life, to do what I love with passion and purpose, sharing life with 2 extraordinary children, great family and beautiful friends, having the privilege of adventurous soul nourishing travels and yet there are so many summits yet to explore.

thank you to all of you that have shared a part of this life with me so far. I’m looking forward to this next year to be filled with vitality, expansion, new adventures, abundance, impact, passionate romance, and p*e my pants laughter ( which actually gets easier with every year 😂😉)

and no, I don’t hesitate about telling people my age. I have earned every year every lesson every memory every wrinkle every gray hair, every extraordinary experience and I celebrate 🎉 that.

Valentines can be a weird day and bring up a range of emotions, regardless of whether you’re in a relationship or rollin solo.

I’ve landed on this truth that it will forever and always be my responsibility to love me and cherish me through my own ups and downs, and the different phases of my life.

On Valentine’s Day, whether I’m in relationship or not, I still buy myself flowers and make sure that I find ways throughout the day to love and appreciate myself.

For me It’s easy for me to pour my love into others. For me the greater challenge, and the greatest growth in my heart is to pour that into myself.

I’ve also come to FACE the reality that it’s better to courageously open one’s heart and let other people in then to walk with it closed in fear of hurt or rejection.

And sometimes Valentines Day will bring up some feeling of lack with the romanticized notion of starcrossed lovers in a passionate embrace. That is no doubt a beautiful feeling. For those that have been in a relationship for a long time it can feel stale or like the romance has gone, and this is the opportunity to infuse it with some creative new energy. And for those not in a relationship, it can feel like a lonely time like there must be something wrong with you.
But either way, nobody needs to feel less than or unloved on this day or any day. There’s no need to compare yourself to whatever is happening in other peoples lives. This is your journey and wherever you are whatever you’re feeling, you are loved 🥰🥰🥰❤️
