So the flu season is coming.
You have cough, runny nose and a sore throat!
What can it be?
Most Urgent car centers can now swab and test you with results in a few minutes.
Flu positive: Tamiflu.
Strep positive: Penicillin.
COVID positive: Paxlovid.
RSV positive: OTC meds like ibuprofen, Tylenol, mucinex, lozenges ( only a few urgent care centers will have this test available).
Above tests negative: Most likely the common cold and OTC meds will work.
