3 years ago, I made my first personal perfumes with essential oils. I fell in love with the subtle, sweet, bold, earthy, floral, elegant smells! 2 years ago I learned a bit more about perfumery with essential oils & made batches of 9 different perfume blends! They have been stored in a dry, cool place & they age like wine, still smelling so divine!

It's been a while since I've used my business page! I'll be using it more frequently again so stay tuned for posts!

When I first created this page selling my botanical perfume oils, I was also providing mobile massage therapy services (as I am a Licensed Massage Therapist). However, instead of mobile, I am now providing Massage Therapy out of my HEARTh (my home). I will still travel if requested. I'll be making another post soon with pricing.

The Trapezius Muscle! aka the "Coat Hanger"
The Trapezius/Traps is the most superficial of the back muscles!

The Trapezius is responsible for actions such as
-extend the neck & head
-laterally flexes the neck
-rotates the head
-elevates the scapula ("shoulder blade")
-upwardly rotates the scapula
-retracts the scapula
-depresses the scapula

It is not sketched here but the trapezius also attaches to the front/side of our clavicle (collarbone)

Our Traps are often overdeveloped due to our everyday human lives, due to actions such as driving, sitting at a computer, looking down at our phones, etc.

These positions cause our Traps to stay rolled forward & elevated

This can cause our Traps to be overworked, resulting in tightness, pain, & even headaches (as you can see, the Traps connects to the back of our head - the occipital ridge). This can even be a contribution to bad posture (rolled-forward shoulders)
