IV drips aren’t root-cause medicine. Neither are supplements or labs.
“Root cause” is everywhere these days. It’s a tagline, a marketing hook, a promise of deeper healing.
But here’s the problem: even functional and integrative medicine often just repackage conventional thinking — pills for problems, just in a fancier form.
IVs, hormones, detox protocols . . . all with the same underlying assumption: if we fix the chemistry, the person will heal.
Chemistry is downstream. What shapes our chemistry is psychology: thoughts, beliefs, habits and their relationship to the body systems. In other words, what shapes the system is our story.
The REAL root is our unprocessed emotions, survival adaptations, and disconnection from self.
