- Children 6 months to 8 years receiving influenza vaccine for the 1st time should receive 2 doses separated by at least 4 weeks. On the succeeding year, a child may receive flu vaccine once a year.

👉My child is 10 years old, and also a 1st timer to receive a flu vaccine. How many dose does he need?
- Children 9-18 years old should receive one dose of the vaccine yearly therafter. He doesn't need to receive 2 doses.

👉 When is the best time to get this vaccine?
- Annual vaccination should begin in February but may be given throughout the year
