Do you remember when The BCCC offered community events and education centered around Covid? We partnered with Louisville Metro Public Health & Wellness to decrease the gap in access for the Black community to Covid education and vaccinations. We recognize how vital it is to treat the whole person. Check out one of our co-founders Ana'Neicia Williams who is featured in the short video that was created to capture the impact of last year’s COVID vaccination listening sessions and outreach.

You’ll also notice other organizations that are just as committed to ensuring access for Black and Brown individuals in our community.

“The idea of carrying multiple hats and being involved in multiple systems and having to carry the weight of all of those systems with the pandemic and the racial injustice ... it's not new, it's just becoming more televised.”

Did you catch our co-founder Erica Reevey last month during Minority Mental Health Month. In case you missed it, check out what she had to say about mental health within the Black community. Not only is Erica the co-founder of The BCCC but she also is the founder and Clinical Director of Therapist Need Therapy Too and Forward Solutions.
