Varnel is proud to work with businesses, not-for-profits, and organizations across Monterey County, helping support their compliance, safety training, and operational needs. 
 
This month, we’re especially pleased to be working with the Monterey County Hospitality Association to provide safety training for their members in the hotel, restaurant, and hospitality sector across the region. 
 
Hospitality is, at its core, service to the public. Because of that, workplace safety and preparedness are incredibly important. Training that helps staff respond in critical moments can make a real difference, and it’s something we believe communities should take pride in supporting. 
 
We’re grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the Monterey County Hospitality Association in helping their members strengthen their safety training and preparedness. 
 
The upcoming Adult CPR and AED Training with Certification, presented by Varnel Services in partnership with State Parks, is a comprehensive program designed to help employers meet OSHA and other federal and state regulatory requirements for workplace emergency response. Just as importantly, it equips teams with practical, life-saving skills so they are prepared to respond when it matters most. 
 
This training is available for Monterey County Hospitality Association members, and we’re proud to help bring these resources to the hospitality community.

Febrero ya está aquí y tenemos varias capacitaciones programadas para las próximas semanas. 
 
Ofrecemos entrenamientos en Primeros Auxilios Pediátricos, RCP, uso de DEA y Salud y Seguridad Preventiva. Estas certificaciones son requeridas para muchas profesiones en California, especialmente en el cuidado infantil, preescolares, programas after-school y otros trabajos que atienden al público.

It’s February, and we’re excited to offer a new round of trainings over the next few weeks for those who need CPR, First Aid, AED, and Preventative Health & Safety certification. 
 
These trainings are designed for professionals working in childcare, education, caregiving, and other roles that require state-approved certification. We offer a flexible training model that combines online learning with in-person, hands-on instruction—so participants leave confident, prepared, and certified. 
 
If February is the month you’re planning to get trained or renew your certification, now’s a great time to take a look.

Hola a todos. Ya tenemos lista nuestra capacitación de Salud y Seguridad Preventiva para enero. 
 
Es un entrenamiento de 8 horas aprobado por EMSA. Para quienes no lo sepan, EMSA es la Autoridad de Servicios Médicos de Emergencia de California, la agencia estatal que establece y aprueba este tipo de capacitaciones, especialmente para quienes trabajan con niños y personas vulnerables. 
 
Esta capacitación es muy importante para cuidadores, proveedores de cuidado infantil, educadores, y otros profesionales que necesitan cumplir con los requisitos del estado. 
 
El curso es completamente en línea, así que puedes participar desde cualquier lugar. Es un entrenamiento de día completo y al finalizar te llevas la certificación y conocimientos prácticos que realmente sirven.

It’s hard to believe we’re already here at the holidays, with Christmas upon us and the New Year — 2026, wow — just around the corner. 
 
What a year it has been for us. We truly couldn’t have done it without our fantastic partners and, of course, our incredible clients. 
 
From our training programs, to supporting workplace wellness, to helping businesses and nonprofits with all kinds of strategic and back-office work, it’s been a busy and rewarding year. 
 
This time of year, we want to pause and show our gratitude. So with that, we simply want to say a big thank you. 
 
Wishing you all a safe, warm, and happy holiday season.

Can you believe the new year is only a month away? Hard to believe, I know.  
  
If you need First Aid, CPR, and AED certification for your work or your business, this is a good time to get ahead for 2026 and get trained before things get busy.  
  
December is a great month to check this off your list.

As we head into Thanksgiving, we want to share our gratitude with the community and the clients who have supported us this year. 
 
A great deal of thanks goes out to the many organizations we’ve had the chance to work with — including Restorative Justice Partners, Natividad Foundation, Action Council, Latitude 36 Foods, Serendipity Preschool, Arranque Empresarial, Brett George Company — and so many more across Monterey County. 
 
We continue to be so pleased to serve the greater Monterey County area and beyond with our work.
