It is of vital importance to quickly consume the proper nutrients after a workout, and carbs play a very important role in this equation.

VEGGIE - Quinoa Stuffed Bell Peppers

Prep Time 20 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Total Time 50 minutes

Serving Size 6

Loaded with protein, veggies and healthy grains, these stuffed bell peppers will provide the nutrition that you need for a healthy, balanced meal!

Ingredients

3 cups cooked quinoa
1 (4-ounce) can green chiles
1 cup corn kernels
1/2 cup canned black beans, drained and rinsed
1/2 cup petite diced tomatoes
1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro leaves
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon chili powder, or more to taste
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
6 bell peppers, tops cut, stemmed and seeded

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. or 180 degrees C. Line a 9×13 baking dish with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, combine quinoa, green chiles, corn, beans, tomatoes, cheeses, cilantro, cumin, garlic, onion and chili powder, salt and pepper, to taste.
3. Spoon the filling each each bell pepper cavity. Place on prepared baking dish, cavity side up, and bake until the peppers are tender and the filling is heated through, about 25-30 minutes.
4. Serve immediately.

You have to stop spending when you want to. There are approximately 30 million people who earn more than they need, but who are one paycheck away from poverty, nonetheless. Such people are interested in something they're called to invest. Wanting spenders to spend more time on their desires than they should.

Are you a want to be spender? These are the main measures you will learn if you are:
Quick gratification, money to purchase items you want now, whether it's 60-inch TVs, fun holidays, luxury cars or a trendy pair of shoes.

Avoid letting others know your worth

Strong words and other people's disapproval may have a huge effect on your health. They can ruin your faith in yourself, and make you depressed. This can affect the way you approach all future endeavors as you move forward after a negative experience. You are afraid to again experience rejection and this creates a negative cycle in your life.

You can never keep everybody happy. We all have varying preferences and expectations. Who you are and what you do, even when the last thing in your mind is to do so, can offend others. You can not afford to continue to change your acts so as to prevent offending. It takes a strong perception of your worth if you don't want to be affected by other people's opinions.

When someone fires you or decides not to be friends with you anymore, your self-worth doesn't diminish. It doesn't change when you boss gets down on you hard at work. That is not dictated by your relationship status. When you face these situations your ego may be bruised a little, but it does not affect your core being. People may be trying to mark you or criticize you, but you should know better. When people do not believe in you, it takes bravery and determination to stand firm.

Working on feedback and developing yourself is part of the that cycle but be discerning on what you are accepting. Don't focus on things you can't change about yourself, like your birth circumstances or your genetic inheritance. More important are other issues like your mentality, what steps you take and the opportunities that are before you. Work on what you can change and don't be concerned with what you can't change.

Running from place to place and working on long to-do lists have become more and more ways of expressing the status of 'I'm so busy because I'm just so important,' the thought goes. Maybe it's time to avoid all of the busyness.

Being busy, if we are even occupied, is rarely the predictor of the position we have come to believe it is. Nonetheless, the effect is significant, and there are growing instances of burnout, anxiety disorders and stress-related diseases, not to mention millennial burnout.

One way out of that folly is to do nothing. Counter-intuitively, idleness can be a great tool for productivity, because if our energy is shot completely, our productivity will not be good because we won't have fuel to burn with which to be productive.

As you work to build your knowledge base, you'll find your mind expanding and growing in new ways. If you fill your brain with great information, your mind will do its thing and begin to usefully interpret that information.

You may find that you suddenly become a machine of ideas. You'll start having moments of "aha," those little breakthroughs where you instantly link one idea to another in order to shape an even bigger and better idea.

Make sure you take note of these ideas. Write them down, keep them handy and make sure you keep coming back to them. Remember, even the biggest and strongest ideas are absolutely worthless if you don't really do something about them.

If you have a genius stroke but lose your thought train and never go back to building on or refining that idea, then you've just missed a great opportunity.

Not all of your new ideas will be winners. Others could be temporary or just won't pan out, but you could have a "light bulb" moment that could change your life.

By nature , people are risk-takers which are measured.

The habit of second-guessing oneself and playing it safely, thinking 'If it's such a good idea, how is it that not everyone else does? 'It's a dangerous and ultimately damaging habit eating away from our self-esteem and trust.

You should save money with an off-brand charger

The truth is knockoff chargers could damage your phone’s battery.
Cheaper chargers don’t necessarily have the standards in place to fill your phone constantly with the correct voltage.
The fluctuation of voltage can damage the charger port, and even damage your battery.
In a pinch, an off-brand cord probably won’t do as much damage as a knockoff of the piece that plugs in to the wall or car might.
But your best bet is to stick with manufacturer-certified products.
