Important Update Regarding GLP-1 Medications

Dear Valued Patient,
With heavy hearts, we are writing to inform you of an important change regarding GLP-1 medications (such as Tirzepatide and Semaglutide) that may affect your current or future treatment plan.
FDA Policy Update Due to the recent stabilization in the national supply of GLP-1 medications, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has updated its guidance. As of May 22, 2025, healthcare providers and compounding pharmacies are no longer permitted to dispense compounded GLP-1 medications. This means we will be discontinuing our compounded GLP-1 weight loss plans in accordance with these federal regulations.
Important Deadline:
In accordance with FDA guidelines, the last day to place any compounded GLP-1 medication orders through our practice will be Tuesday, May 21, 2025.
What This Means for You We understand the importance of continuity in your care and are committed to providing safe, effective, and compliant weight loss treatment options. In place of compounded GLP-1s, we are now offering access to FDA-approved GLP-1 medications through a partnership with Lilly Direct.
New Program Offering Patients can now enroll in our GLP-1 weight loss management program, which includes:
A 3-month prescription for an FDA-approved GLP-1 medication
Ongoing clinical monitoring and support from our team
Access to educational and lifestyle guidance
Cost: $103/month, billed quarterly at $309 per 3-month cycle
(Medication is shipped directly through Lilly Direct)
Next Steps If you are currently enrolled in a compounded GLP-1 plan, we will assist you in transitioning to the new program. Please contact our office as soon as possible to schedule a follow-up and discuss eligibility.
